With over 20 years of home building experience and close to a thousand homes built, Matt Thrash, President of Matheson Custom Homes, knows a home's quality is directly related to the supervision given during the building process. This knowledge and his hands on approach are the driving forces behind the company. Through his years in the business, Matt has been able to cultivate strong relationships with reliable subcontractors. This had lead to a 10 + year relationship with 80% of his sub contractors. All but one of his sub contractors endured the recent upheaval. This in turn, gives strong support to the warranty of your home. Matheson Custom Homes brings more quality and value to your home. Matt began his career by carrying out the trash during construction to have a little spending money while obtaining his Business degree from Georgia State University. He soon began wearing the tool belt and the school of hard knocks followed. This trained him in all phases of construction, which gives him the ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the different trades and the ability to lead by example when working with the subcontractors. This skill has proven to be invaluable. By the time he graduated, he knew he wanted to be a builder. Working with 3 Atlanta home builders gave Matt the tools to build his own company. He has built homes in the Greater Atlanta area and North Georgia. Building or remodeling your home should be an exciting and enjoyable experience.
